I doubt it'll happen. Having sprint as a base player ability likely necessitates larger maps. Larger maps probably means there will be more frequent mid-range firefights and less CQC. I'm a hang-back-and-shoot-from-a-distance kind of player myself, so I don't care, but I also didn't mind that players with ARs in Reach could put up a fight at medium range. I suspect automatics will hardly be used in Halo 4.
