THAT is an informed opinion and is a valid argument. I did, in fact, read the article. I happen to disagree with their interpretation of the events. They used clever word choice to make Microsoft's actions seem more evil. Why? I don't know for sure, but I think one possible explanation is that it is easy to portray Microsoft as evil. In my opinion, I believe that although Microsoft could have been a bit more polite (paying for airfares) I would not want them to budge a single inch on creative control. If no one would let them have total control, as was the case, then they should walk away, as they did. I believe Microsoft did the right thing overall, albeit they were a bit rude. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Microsoft doesn't care about money. I'm just saying that they've done a lot of good for the world of gaming and their old reputation no longer suits them. They are by no means saints in the industry, but if they were the rich and greedy men you portrayed them as in your first reply to me, I don't believe we would even be having this conversation as Halo would likely have been a flop. HAVING SAID ALL THAT. My main problem is not with your argument. It's with this: "...Microsoft is full of a bunch of rich arrogant idiots who were only concered with the political side of the whole ordeal. I say f*ck Microsoft..." This is not an argument. This is an over-generalization. This is bile. This is useless. It is this kind of attitude that hurts everyone.
