Many people, myself included, when into the game thinking that it was going to be a huge battle on Earth. That's what the ill-fated E3 demo implied. Instead, we go hoping off to another Halo. When I finally got back to Earth, I thought I was finally going to get that huge battle that we'd all been waiting for. Instead, the credits rolled.

It's been said that the Earth stuff got cut due to time and the E3 demo fiasco. Back then there wasn't any talk about it being a trilogy. I think lots of people went into it thinking that it was going to be the big conclusion. Looking back now, it's a good game. It's just back then it felt half-finished.
