I love that Bungie had the guts to do the ending that they did and in the manner that they did it, but I felt the death of Six him/herself should've been done in a more spectacular manner. Maybe they were never going for that and it's just what I personally wanted to see, but I think it would've been cool that if you'd survived after say, 100 enemy kills (77?) or so, that the enemies stop coming and you get killed by being blown up by Covenant ships.

Also, I think it would've been cool to have a final space battle against the fleet that destroyed Reach. My personal dream for the end would be to have Six get off the MAC gun and as the Pillar of Autumn is lifting up, Six runs over to a Longsword (always wanted to fly one of those) and escorts the PoA off Reach and out of the system, all the while fighting the Covenant fleet. Providing you're successful, the PoA jumps away leaving you behind vs. the fleet, which you obviously cannot overcome, and are shot down above Reach. Six survives the fall (again) and goes straight into Lone Wolf.

But I think the end of Reach is still really cool the way it is and I love that they added it in the way that it is.
