In Response To: Am I the only one that found the rookie funny? (Hikaru-119) : Personally I liked the rookie. I thought he could be quite funny because of : his body language in the cutscenes. Plus he seemed a bit more bad ass to : me. He was on his own and went through the whole town with zero support : for the entire thing until that cop in the Data Hive. I found that to be a : lot cooler than the rest of them who actually had support. Perhaps that is : just not enough for everyone.else. I'm with you there, I highly enjoyed the Rookie's body-language. For example, his reaction to Buck and Dare kissing on the elevator? Hilarious. It's as if he's saying, "Uh, ok, I'm just going to stand over here and stare at the big floating alien, don't mind me". Also, memory is a bit shady at the moment, but near the end when they're attempting to escape in the Phantom, and Dutch is suspicious of Vergil, when the Assault Carrier jumps in, and prepares to start a bombardment. The Rookie does this little gesture(if I recall correctly) that just screams, "Is THAT enough to convince you to shut up and get us out of here?!" For me at least, the Rookie didn't need to talk. His body-language was enough to convey a message. Don't know what that counts for the rest of you, but it works for me.
