Ya just can't please everybody.

But that said, don't think for a minute that "The Package" even APPROACHED my personal, uber-high standards. Don't think, for even one second, that I did not wish that every single tiny little detail were completely and perfectly accurate, the way that it should be.

You see, I'm just REALLY grateful for what I'm given. Beggars can't be choosers. I can't go make my own perfect little CG animated Halo short. I just plain don't have that ability.

So if I'm given something that is pretty cool, then I'm going to be pretty happy with it. I'm not going to treat it as "Like, oh my gawsh, it has to be either 100.00% flawless or I'm not even going to touch it."
Just because it's not perfect doesn't mean I won't enjoy it. I'm just enjoying these anime episodes for what they are: cool little things developed by Japanese animation studios who were given artistic license and creative freedom. Nothing more. You could say that I'm imagining them as being alternate-reality versions of "the real thing." So I'm not upset by the use of something that looks nearly identical to Mark VI MJOLNIR because I know what should ACTUALLY be there, and so I just suck it up and chalk it up (as in, I chalk it up to it not being possible for this to have been exactly the way that I would have liked it, and even if it was possible, the fact that it isn't is not something that I can change so I'm not going to sweat it. Life's extremely short--so don't sweat the small stuff.).

That said, I confess this: I'm so used to stuff in life falling short of what I would have it be that I usually enjoy something more or enjoy something less based on its ability to get me to imagine my own perfect little perfect, ideal version of it. Because that's the only way I'm going to get my heart's desire with stuff like this, is to imagine it myself. There are of course exceptions to that, but they're just that--exceptions.

Take this for example: I am a fan of Batman and I am also a fan of the Matrix universe. When they released "Batman Gotham Knight" and "The Animatrix" I didn't freak out over the fact that they looked so different from each other or that they weren''t identical to the films. I saw them for what they were.

I guess maybe it's just life experience that has caused me to mediate and moderate my expectations of things. I recommend all others do the same. Lest this current situation expressed in your post repeat itself.
