Yeah, I've read Uprising. The events depicted in it though, seem to go a lot faster than from Nov.8 to Nov.17. Unless it skips some parts. That's nine days, but the stuff the Chief does in Uprising looks like a few hours or one day at a maximum. It begins when the Dreadnought's around Jupiter, so it must've been in Sol for some time by then.

I'm kind of disappointed how little Uprising actually revealed about the time period. All those delays, and then all we got was a story of a couple of civilians and a few shots of the chief kicking ass in the Dreadnought. I would've rather seen the story of how Johnson, Arbiter and Keyes returned to Earth. Also, did the Chief do anything else than fight during the nine days? Or was he hiding in the ship for the first days? Oh, and all that time in slispace (Nov.3-Nov.8) of course.
