In Response To: Re: New Cinematic Trailer (kanbo) : Am I the only one that noticed that the Spirit of Fire went into the planet? : I'm assuming that it's not Harvest; the Flood scene shows a ship coming : out of Slipspace, but it looked like something in the ground opened up and : they went underground, into a cavern big enough for the Spirit to look : small. And surrounded by sentinels, even. : And then the planet blows up. I don't think that the Spirit of Fire was
: These scenes make me want to play a new Halo game, but not as an RTS Looking at it a couple more times, it looks like the inside of the planet is terraformed, so it might be something along the lines of a shield world. And the way that Cutter nods in the cryo scene, it looks more like they're awaking the Spartans than getting into stasis. So they don't escape and drift in stasis; they just die. And the Flood world... I'm fairly certain that it's the Arbiter, but that makes me wonder when that takes place. It makes it seem like the Arbiter was there before the humans were, but his inclusion later in the story makes me think that it's a previous Arbiter who had come to the planet before this story takes place.
