But in the bible, there were : two of each animal- only two humans, two of each of the covenant? I bet : you its the Sergeant who gets to live, he's pretty good at this whole : survival thing. Except that GS confirms that the Ark is the place where you activate all the Halo's at once if they are placed on standby, or perhaps even if they are not. Shield worlds, or at least the one that we know if, Onyx (from the book Ghosts of Onyx) shows that any place there is a shield world, there is a lots of crap to protect it - like trillions of Sentinels or the tougher kind of Forerunner robot thingy. I am not saying that the Ark cant also protect those insides, but why would the Forerunner have so much protection for other sheilded area's and not the Ark and why dont any other area's that can activate the Halo's (their control rooms for isntance) offer any protection at all? ALSO - you assume Ark as in Noah's ark because both have a "flood" connection in some way - but perhaps Ark is actually referring to the Ark of the Covenant - and not some sanctuary from a flood. Considering the power the Ark of the Covenant was suppose to have had, that might be a better analogy. So in response to your "NO" - YES! :-)
