Hence the "some people" and not "I", as well as my speculation that Bungie is awash with perfectionists. I imagine it is hard enough to get something to a state where everyone agrees to stop tweaking it and push it out the door-- let alone with people screaming that they want it yesterday, and that includes fans like myself as well as those interested more in Halo for its earning power than its inherent artistic value. Since we're in a refuting mood, though, do you agree with the characterization made publicly by people at Microsoft that Halo 2 is an example of doing things right and not releasing a game "til it's done"? |
