However, would it truly be possible to kill every ant in the world if they were all pissed off and wanting to kill us? : Why didn't they want the flood to become extinct? Isn't that the goal of the : Halo's? The purpose of the seven Installations is to study and contain the Flood. Halo's weapon is used to wipe out potential Flood hosts in the event of an outbreak
