In Response To: my view on rampantcy (mrbananas) : here is my look at it. an AI would become rampant when it becomes obsessed
: in all these example, the fact that this AI had a rule they must follow
: anyways, that is just my take on it. im my oppinion an AI becoming rampant is when it being to focus on things other than what it is supposed to, before the final stage where it becomes kind of like a cranky cave hermit, the AI will go through ever increasing stages pf doing whatever the hell it wants, like Cortana reasigning Ackerson to a front line post could be viewed as a sign of rampancy, lacking a true primary function would make rampancy unpreventable however it would happen slower as compared to the other AIs that had a primary function.
