Yay, more proof!

I checked any other cinema with Cortana, just to make sure that's not just how her hands are drawn, they are all non-crossed, and actually spread out a bit.

So, Cortana knows alot about the Flood, because she downloaded all the Data from Halo 04, which was built to study the Flood. She prebably know somthing about how they think and thinks she can somehow manipulate them to do her bidding. So, she tells MC that she will destroy them but isn't going to. If he knew that she wasn't going to, then he would do it himself, that is why she lies. Because... at the final cutscene, shouldn't High Charity have been bown up by then?
