I agree with most of your points. However, you mentioned that there was large parts of the story you expected to be there and they simpily were not. You must understand that Bungie does not go by the novels, the novels go by Bungie. I loved every bit of Halo 2. The ending simpily made me excited for Halo 3. There will be a Halo 3, with out doubt. It has been said that Bungie's next project will NOT be Halo 3. It is simpily to early to speculate. I am still enjoying Halo 2 at the moment. There are a number of good games coming out from now and Halo 3 anyways. I am concerned however of Xbox Next's backwards compatibility.
