In Response To: I'll sum up what I saw (Miguel Chavez) Excuse me if I'm way off the mark, but people are actually complaining about the terminals? actually writing them off as a bad thing? Why? I found them to be wholely enjoyable & interesting, just the kind of story I like so much, with the mystery, & the half knowledge of events that pieces togeather a grim & dangerous game in which every character knows a single fragment of the story, but cannot share it with the others to bring a whole, instead finding themselves communicating in confusion. The Enkidu Terminals were a fine piece of fan fiction, & deserve a great deal of recognition, as does the writer. But to suggest that anything bad has come from them, that anyone was decieved or wronged, is simply stupidity & ignorance. Enjoy such gifts as they are, if you feel wronged by them, then you're on a very different planet to most of us... |
