In Response To: Re: MLG writeup, sorta...A party...... (Ducain) I'm glad someone has brought up this subject. The same thing on those tournaments happens on XBL. People just don't have lives, they play night and day trying to get the number one spot on live to say that they cheated 92% of the way there. One week on Mechassault I acctually got to 7th on the leader boards in ctf to realize that I have no life. Just about since that day I havn't played a bit of Live because people are like that, they want to win, without fun. Who cares if you get last or close, If you have FUN then you have just accomplished the developers' goal, to make the gamer happy. Not force the gamer to have no life for a year locking themselves up in a room with a broadband connection and an xbox. Hell they prolly piss their pants they are so "dedicated" to playing. I know that if I was going to enter into a halo tournament it would be one with no prize for first that can be played at the comfort at my home with my buddies just playing for fun, getting those really intense, heart-stopping moments where you are having fun.
