| In Response To: Re: Heh...oops... (REB) You seam to say getting a girlfriend is a 1+1=2 move. Personnaly, I think I'm in a bad situation for finding a girlfriend, even if I'm not THAT bad looking, because: A) I have no money. All I have of free money at this time must account for no more than 150$Can. That's what? Two diners at at a mid-high class restaurant. Then you'll say: "Find a damn job". Well, I can't either because when I'm not at school from 8h AM to 6 PM, I'm doing home/barn [unpaid] work from 8h AM to 6 PM, with some horse riding I have to do everyday too. B) No driving license/car. Heh, yea. Still don't have that. I know I'm a bit late for that at 19, but like I said, I don't work outside home, so... But anyway, that has been taken care of now, I'll have it by next November. C) I hate bars. Here in Canada the legal drinking age is 18. All the girls over this age hang in bars after 10h30 PM and it's the place to get a girlfriend. However, I can't get to frequent those places because as I'm used to say, "the music is bad, and loud enough to cover a gun shot". I also don't know how to dance, and I don't even drink myself. Plus, those places of full of smoking people, and that brings us to my next point. D) I need a non-smoking girl. Sorry, but you won't make me kiss a cigarette, directly, or indirectly. Smoking people smell, and I hate that smell. Sadly, a lot of young people smoke, and girls account 50% of the population, right? E) Time. As I explained in A, I don't have all my time to dedicate to finding/keeping a girlfriend. And since I find it would be nearly impossible for me to find one now (given I'm also not a very social person), I have pretty much given up until my situation change. Yes, I'm a looser. :( Djof
