: That is what I meant when I said the puzzles made no sense in M1. They seemed
: thrown in randomly. Why do I have to go to three differnt rooms to make a
: stair case in one room. What F**KING A**HOLE made this damn ship. And
: further more who was giving him all those drugs. And all that lava, was
: the safty inspector getting into those drugs?
: I loved Mi, my favorite. I think puzzles mixed in well with combat. The story
: was complex and fun.
: M2 however, I only like for the game play. I think it looked nice and it is
: the only first person shooter with a bright eviroment for a LONG time. But
: story wise it felt like I was being pushed through a fan fiction of the
: fate of the big D man.
Well, I think that it's pretty much the security procedures and stuff that pretty much only the UESC know, so that they can access very important areas and stuff. That may be why there are all those puzzles. Sheesh, I don't understand why everyone hates hard puzzles, I like them, just not if they're in my face all the time. Well, never mind, I like that too. I don't think that anybody was on drugs or anything like that. Maybe the lava was a little weird, but maybe either some of the AIs kind of fucked up some of the Marathon's operations and stuff which is why you often need to solve puzzles, or that it's just part of the security procedures that the UESC use to go to restricted areas or something.
