I think there is a feel to Marathon one that the others lost, it was very lonely and maybe sad in a way? I liked that feel the most, but story telling wise and other physical aspects I think were much improved in the sequals. Also for me at least Marathon 1 gets some sort of boost in my mind because it was the first game I ever played. I can't say which one I like the most they were all great. So this post was pointless :)
