But we still have to think about one thing that we see a lot in game communities, people using the weapons that need more skill (less "make-a-mess" weapons) just to act big. like we see a lot in the CS community, "woha the knife rules" or "haha! i knifed the dude". I am not going to say that the marathon pistol sucks, a great weapon. But if i see a pfhor in front of me, i don't choose the fists, i don't choose the pistol (unless i am out of ammo in other weapons or saving it), i choose the AR.
The Pistol can be very powerful on long range, that's true. And it's good to use it to save ammo. But in multiplayer i have found it quite useless. it's just a gun to use if you are out of ammo. Sometimes i even rather use my fists instead of the pistol in a multiplayer match.
We also see stuff like i talked about earlier today in many games, people using good guns are called noobs. Just because they are wise enough to choose the good gun and kill the other guys, and camp whores, well they are not camp whores, they are just wise enough to snipe, and the people that call them camp whores are just dumb enough to get sniped.
Still a guy that sits on the same spot for the whole game, with a sniper... now that's a camp whore, but a sniper that relocates, that's a winner.
so my point is. Many people say that the small weapons rock just so they can look cool. But don't get me wrong, i am not saying the pistol sucks. Nor i am saying that you people are that kind of people, i don't know about that. But i do know that for me the pistol is useless in multiplayer.
Well maybe all this post was pointless but at least i wasted some time on it. (i really was getting bored, hehe)
