Ah, now a little bit of Durandal being in the SO's head makes sense at that endscreen. I interpreted it as the SO escaping the closure where Durandal failed... but if he failed, how could he be there telling you that you are destiny? And it would seem too humbling of him to kowtow to you in such a way if he also succeeded in escaping on his own... but this is the new Thoth/Jjarro-AI Durandal, not our old megalomaniacal ham that we know and love.
