17+70 = 92 - 5. Five years after the sack of the Pfhor system, Leela's warning arrives. It's close enough (especially since no other notable events happen in the interim) to read as poetic irony to me, especially when viewed as it is on the Marathon timeline, where (except for the two very-distant-future events mentioned a bit later), the sack of the Pfhor system and the arrival of Leela's warning as the last things that happen in the story.
