Well, it could be that there is very little difference between Jjaro and 'Pthian' tech. So, for example, in the Mass Effect series, there is some distinction between Turian and Salarian technology, but because they are both members of the Citadel, their tech blurs together a lot, and they often use elements borrowed from the other species.
Likewise, since the Jjaro and the Pthians were so united, their technologies probably blurred together to the point that anyone who encountered actual Pthian artifacts would think they were Jjaro tech. There would be no easy way to distinguish between the two, since a lot of Pthian elements would find their way into Jjaro technology, architecture, and engineering, and vice versa, and so Pthian would just look like a variant on the normal Jjaro style.
