In Response To: my Halo mission design document (R.G.) Wow, impressive, and clearly the result of hard work and dedication. Plus, it looks like it would be a lot of fun to play, which is what really matters. If I were going to make any sort of criticism (and I am going to, but only, I hope, in the most constructive of ways), it would be that it looks like a lot of other Halo levels. As someone already pointed out, it feels a bit like "Halo." It seems kind of like a "best of" level: the beach fight from "Silent Cartographer," the final run from "The Maw," the large scale battles from, either "Halo" (with Covie dropships) or "Two Betrayals," etc. Of course, if you were to get too "out there," it would leave you open to the criticism that you had strayed too far from the "assignment" of using the existing Halo-story elements.
All in all, well done, and much better than I could do. -Sep7imus |
