: Finn It's hard to tell if it is just the way the game was coded or if holograms are supposed to have physical properties (the ability to interact with solid objects) by design, or both. What I mean is that there are movies of Cortana getting attacked by an Elite and even though the blows/shots don't seem to really hurt her holographic image, the image is bounced around as if it is really getting hit. Perhaps it is a Forerunner ability to make solid energy holograms (or force field technology in the shape of a hologram). In the Control Room there is a giant hologram of Threshold, Halo, and Basis surrounded by an even larger hologram of Halo. You can shoot these holograms and the shots (at least plasma weapons) are stopped by the holograms. They indeed do have solid properties. |
