It should be a configuration option. I didn't miss the secondary weapon icon and I would like the primary weapon icon removed and ammo displayed on the weapon itself. But I understand that others like other ways of displaying the info. I wear glasses and hate it when the lenses are not clean. The blue glows and lines on the HUD remind me of dirty glasses. I wish I could turn that off. HUD display should be just another customization option in Halo 5. Most other things are customizable, why not this?
