I have an HD LCD available, but it's a terrible screen to game on; bland colours, high input lag, and really poor motion. My Trinitron SD CRT has pretty good IQ aside from some mild checkerboarding (No YPbPr or S-video input unfortunately), though; should be interesting. The bigger issue in general with shooters is how they handle field of view when played in 4:3.
