In Response To: Flood in future Halo games is a near-certainty (SonGoharotto) : And look at War Games; the 'Infection' gametype is now given narrative : backing as an anti-Flood combat exercise. If the UNSC is actively training : the SPARTAN-IVs to fight Flood, they know the threat hasn't passed. There : may not be any Flood in Halo 4, but I would be very surprised if the : subject isn't raised in future installments. Yeah, as soon as they said the Flood was in but not as an enemy in campaign I figured it was set up for 5 or 6 based on Primordium. Maybe we'll be getting into another 2-4 front war. But I don't know who is going to end up on what side and it seems like a lot of possible factions are viable in the full trilogy. Obvious: UNSC Promethean Forerunner Storm Covenant Flood Possible: Innies/Innie-Covenant Arby Covenant (sided with UNSC) Longshot: "Classic" Forerunner Precursor (sided with Flood?) Prophet Covies with Brutes Ancient Humanity in some way AI Alliance seen in Reach Datapads Only the first two groups are really possible in my eyes, though I think we will see the Prophet Covenant again at some point in the EU.
