ATTN: Those with books to hand...

In Response To: Re: A Brief History of Halo: Mantle (telemachus)

I don't have my copies of Cryptum and Primordium readily available, and I did read them a while back. Perhaps someone can check the following sources for me:

Regarding there being 18 Halos, http://www.halopedia.org/Halo_Array#History states:
"Twelve Halos, each 30,000 kilometers in diameter, were originally commissioned by Master Builder Faber and constructed by the guild of Bornstellar's father at the greater Ark, one of the two Ark installations in existence at the time. Only one of these original rings ultimately survived to be used in the Forerunners' final plan; this ring was designated Installation 07. A separate array of six installations was also constructed and remained under the Librarian's control at the lesser Ark. [Source: Halo: Cryptum, page 329]"

And regarding the captive, http://www.halopedia.org/Yprin_Yprikushma:
"Yprikushma and her science team originally discovered the ancient being known as the Primordial buried within a desolate planet at the edges of the galaxy. She recognized the entity's scientific potential and brought it to Charum Hakkor in a stasis capsule for study and questioning. [Source: Halo: Primordium, pages 237-238]

I'd be grateful if someone could confirm whether these pages do indeed say the things it's claimed they say.

Thank you all for the positive feedback, part two is almost complete :)
