When you see the Chief running across the battlefield, pulling out his weapon and seeing him jumping into that group of enemies.....well, that just isn't captured in any of the games. It literally sent a chill down my spine when I first saw that happen. I've seen enough Xenophobic, technologically superior bad guys bent on the destruction of mankind stories in movies and books to fill several lifetimes, and frankly I'm just bored with it. I like the general Halo story but, I see it as, been there, done that!
I like where 343 is going with the Master Chief's humanity in the new Scanned video. As far and the campaign game play in Halo 4 goes.....well, 343 is going to have to seriously impress me with the campaign game play.
The Reach campaign was a very pretty game, no doubt about that, but the game play didn't impress me at all.
