Hrm, sure, but that content may have only been created because of the exclusives. If there was no such thing as retailer exclusives, would 343i have designed less content, since they had less need to? That's not clear, but that's important to know for an argument like yours.

I think my opinion on this depends heavily on whether or not these are truly exclusive, or essentially just "unlocked early".
