In Response To: Re: "Difficulty Balance in Halo" Redux. *long-ish* (Dervish) : Like you said, the Halo 1 enemies feel competent yet fair, but I : find it to be more frustrating than the other games because the : checkpoints are so much less forgiving. I see this complaint constantly, but I'm always confused as to what situations people are referring to. Aside from some nasty experiences I've had trying to rush some areas (especially in Two Betrayals), I've found that Halo 1's checkpoints are usually quite even and reasonable.
