That's what I keep coming back to as well. I guess it's just not something that gets played a lot, and is easy to forget about? Heh, I wonder if the whole reason BTB Heavies is being rolled out is to remind folks that this already existed? Ok, probably not, but it's still a funny thought.

I think the thing that's getting even those people who DO remember is that this type of scoring was shown being used in a gametype labeled simply "BR Slayer." Not "BR Bonus Slayer" or something like that. Leads people to believe that this type of scoring is considered standard. And I'm going forward with the knowledge that this MIGHT possibly be the case. There are plenty of other explanations, of course - for one thing, it's likely the footage is from very early testing.

Oh, how I miss you, HBO Halo 2 gametypes.
