If that's the case I think it's a great upfront way to show the : broader contributions of all your team members. Things like assists, : grenade tags, kill streaks, assassinations, etc., could all go towards : that total and serve as a bit of a booster to players who kill less but : help the team in other ways and further reinforce good team work. Halo's : got a shit ton of medals to go around so I can only imagine what the : ultimate goal of a Team Slayer match might be. And that's not to say : simply playing to fifty kills couldn't be an option in addition to that. Assists, kill streaks, sure. Those are fine. But there is no reason to be awarding bonus team points for assassinations and grenade tags. That doesn't promote good teamwork, that promotes trying to be a hotshot in every game. In a Team Slayer match, the most important thing is kills, not how you kill the enemy. I really hope Halo doesn't move more in that kind of a direction.
