In Response To: Did anyone else notice.... (Chris101b) : That they changed the way that team slayer keeps track of kills. At 1:55 of : the video (Link below) they are playing BR Slayer, and the score is : 300-130. When the red guy gets the kill, his score moves up to 140. This : means that Halo 4 is using a more Call of Duty-esque scoring approach : instead of the long established Halo way of doing things (Which is : obviously going up by the number of kills). Not sure how I feel about : that. Maybe this will play a more pivotal roll in the way that progression : works. If that were the case, I would be a bit more fine with it. I just : hope that it isn't change for the sake of change. Other than that, : everything else that I've seen has been phenomenal and I am SO glad that : the BR is making a return. If that's the case I think it's a great upfront way to show the broader contributions of all your team members. Things like assists, grenade tags, kill streaks, assassinations, etc., could all go towards that total and serve as a bit of a booster to players who kill less but help the team in other ways and further reinforce good team work. Halo's got a shit ton of medals to go around so I can only imagine what the ultimate goal of a Team Slayer match might be. And that's not to say simply playing to fifty kills couldn't be an option in addition to that.
