I was referring to Gran Turismo 4 with that particular example, which is possibly the pinnacle of the series.
But its across the board of all its releases that if its in the game, then it can be driven, for better or worse.
That's all I was saying.

I have plenty of issues with GT5, but they are actually somewhat similar to this aspect of undrivable cars in Forza 4.
While I can appreciate the level of detail in to GT5's dedicated photo travel mode, I cannot justify why they spent so long on that feature which could have been spent on more actual racing tracks, more premium quality cars, improving the AI... so many things.
Instead there are 200 or so premium cars and the other 800 or so are almost ripped straight from GT4, low resolution textures and all.
GT5 is a prime example of quantity over quality, or focusing too much attention in less important areas, like rendering the entirety of the Red Bull hangar at Salzberg Airport, purely for the sake of looking at the premium cars.

And this is in fact what I'm somewhat worried about in regards to Autovista mode in Forza 4.
Especially with the news of there being several cars rendered to such high standards of detail purely for looking at.
