In Response To: The Best and Worst Designed Alien Species (Toxic Mayhem) : Guess who made the list, both of them. I actually agree 100%, the grunts are and always have been highly annoying from a fictional standpoint. They're a ton of fun to shoot and they're made slightly more bearable when they don't speak English, but they really just completely ruin the mood of the series, especially later on when they're trying to be dramatic and serious. I think it's a sign of a real Halo campaign fan (and probably Bungie fan in general) when you can will yourself past the grunts to enjoy the series overall.
