More in keeping with halo 3's style, : which isn't a bad thing. It reminds me of Halo 3 as well. The indicator for the plasma grenades needs some work. It's just a tiny dot compared to the old display. Or maybe that's the frags. Either way, It needs to me more clear. The font on the HUD also looks thinner. Might be an issue on older TV's. I'm assuming it's still a work in progress so no big worry about that. The pistol also looks thinnner. One thing that has always bothered me about the pistol is the sight picture. If I don't have some fancy helmet to link up with, what am I supposed to align the two back dots with? I guess the top front of the slide is part of the linkup for the HUD and zoom and there's a fixed post hidden under it. That doesn't make much sense for the one Keyes and the Bob's carry since they're not wearing helmets. There's also no indentation between the rear dots, so you can't really align them with a front post anyway. Here's some examples of good sight pictures. The two back dots on the pistol make me think that it's supposed to be like the first one, but that doesn't work unless there's a gap between the dots.
And don't get me started on the AR's lack of iron sights. I want to aim the thing, not look at a compass and how many rounds are left.
