Oooh, harsh.

I'm the other way around. I never liked the way the Halo 2 hand armor looked. I didn't look right with the rest of the armor and was a bit distracting. The Halo 3 hand armor fit right in and I never gave it a second thought.

It could just as well be an external jetpack like in Reach, but it really doesn't matter. Might as well go for what looks best. Pretend he got a tune-up and a small upgrade on the Forward Unto Dawn or something.
