In Response To: Re: Why I'm suddenly excited, yet still afraid, fo (Frankie) : I agree with this post. Which is why we have Battle Rifles, Mark VI, DMRs, : etc in the universe. Anyway, more will be explained in good time. Frankie, I'll level with you. I'm not excited. But hold on there! I'm not afraid either. Truth is, Halo 4 is going to be at least another year and a half away and there is a TON of first rate games coming out this year for me to concentrate on. =) I'm thinking what a nightmare September through to November is going to be, with F1 2011, Gears of War 3, Ace Combat Assault Horizon, Batman Arkham City, Forza 4, Battlefield 3, CoD MW3, MGS HD Collection, ZOE HD Collection, Halo Anniversary edition, ESV Skyrim, Zelda: Skyward Sword, Starfox 64 3D and possibly a few others I'm not recalling off the top of my head. Thank goodness that after Duke Nukem Forever on Friday and Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D next Friday, the gaming release calendar looks pretty bare until Deus Ex pops up at the end of August!
2012 is also kicking off with ME3 and, with a little luck, I'll be given the great privilege to finally become a dog owner with my own little Shiba Inu puppy in Jan or Feb. So that's a lot of stuff, lol!
Basically, its incredibly early days and with so much within reach, I can't bring myself to get worked up over a short CGI cinematic tease of Halo 4. But by the same token, I also don't have any bad feelings or misgivings about it either. You guys and gals at 343i just do your thing and in your own time.
