In Response To: Re: And nobody has answered... (Archilen) : Though there's still a slight contradiction between this and some newer : sources - that quote about ships "undergoing trials" is in 2552, : while in Contact Harvest, even unmanned freighters and the Tiara had : artificial gravity without rotating sections. Not to mention the SoF in : Halo Wars. Wasn't it also an artificial gravity device of sorts that the : rebels used to incapacitate the Spartans in GoO? It seems to me that the : UNSC had mastered artificial gravity well before they encountered the : Covenant. P. 36, Ghosts of Onyx: "We used an antigrav plate, old technology that never panned out, but for our purposes, it worked just fine. A focused beam fooled your armor's sensors into thinking you were in a ten-gee environment. It increased internal pressure to save your lives, momentarily rendering you unconscious."
