Actually, the Hallelujah Mountains make the most sense out of anything on Pandora. They're what made my mind click and realize "THAT'S what Unobtainium is!" It's a superconductor! They levitate over magnets. Sure, the magnetic fields needed to levitate them is strong enough to rip the hemoglobin out of your blood or something like that, but AWESOME!
