I feel ya on that one. Schooly D's gym feels like a Karate Kid sequence. "Hit one fusion core, to move to next stage of training." Ten minutes later, you're just spamming with the Pistol and hoping.

On the hologram, not a bad idea whatsoever. I envision a gym map with some funky launcher stuff, so you can send your hologram off at weird angles.

Or, drop the 'gram stationary and try to headshot as your aim comes up. I could see myself wasting a lot of time that way.
