Overall, it wouldn't be any different from a Spartan with a : shotgun versus another Spartan with a sword. How about armor abilities? How do they factor into the equations? I don't see anyone talking about that. That goes back to something Bungie has constantly been harping on: stop thinking like Halo 3. I think you cann get the power back in the sword as a CBQ weapon with the proper application of an AA. Halo 3's sword with camo, sprint, and even jet pack would be overpowered, right? Now, when I come lurking/sprinting/flying in/around/from above the corner at least you have a chance to stop the attack with a block.
