In Response To: HBO: Because real swords work up to 8 Meters! *NM* (hyokin) Never bring in realism in these discussions, at least not as a serious point. Gameplay trumps all. If we were to bring in realism as a point of discussion, then the shotgun should be completely useless in Halo. Buckshot isn't exactly known for it penetrative abilities. In fact, any decent body armor is resistant against buckshot, so Mjolnir armor or a Sangheili battle harness would be immune to a shotgun even without the added benefit of deflector shields. | |
