Never considered that, though I don't see it as a "problem" per se. I do the same thing so I don't get requests, keeping my list full. Doesn't mean that there won't be a person in the future I want a FR from, so I wouldn't ever want to straight-up disable friend requests. You can turn the notifications off if it really bothers you, or block the requester, not that the requests are harassing you. Having them at the top of the inbox makes sense if you address them when you get them, as the typical user does. I know someone who has about 20 requests and never rejects/accepts them. I see that more as a problem with that person than the system. Having no knowledge of upcoming dash updates or iterations, I doubt that this will be addressed. I could see having a totally different Friend Requests pane being a better solution that'd help out you and your people, a la Facebook. However, with the current layout of the dash and the guide menu, I doubt we'd see anything like this. Nonetheless, I will bring this up with Robbie Bach the next time he's over to play the Halos at my crib.
