In Response To: Dear Frankie; please stop making up new Spartans. (InnerRayg) I don't strictly have a problem with there being more Spartans as long as they clarify where they came from. My main issue lies with the idea that if there are more than the ones listed in Fall of Reach/First Strike/Ghosts of Onyx left at the time of the games, why weren't they there with the Chief? Their absence in Halo 2 I can understand to an extent since the Chief kinda had to shoot and run in order to catch Regret, but there's no excuse for them not being anywhere in Halo 3 short of their deaths. Bungie's left plenty of the world/universe unknown at different parts of the games, so that could theoretically allow them (or others like 343) to expand on some of these questions in a way that makes sense with the established story... | |
