In Response To: Here's a couple things you haven't considered. (InnerRayg) : And here's the big thing, the Flood problem. Why is such a problem that there : are flood on the planet? Did it ever occur to you that maybe the Halo : rings just don't work? We keep discovering infestations everywhere. The : rings stopped the flood from taking the galaxy, maybe, if only because : there was nothing left to take, but it really obviously did not kill them : all. Two things come to mind: 'Resignation is my virtue. Like water, I ebb and flow. Defeat is but the addition of time to a sentence I never deserved, but you imposed.' - Gravemind Then, to borrow from Holmes and Spock, 'if you eliminate the impossible whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.' Have we ever seriously considered this before? It's a completely new thought to me... too much faith in the technological superiorty of the Forerunners, I suppose. I mean, Frankie did have his hand in this story, right? Doesn't this just MAKE sense? Someone prove me wrong, lol.
