In Response To: New halo wars vidoc (2900d4u) The gameplay looked awful before, but I'm starting to see some good things in it. I hope the units are all highly lethal- my main concern is watching soldiers fire at each other for 30 minutes, doing 2% damage. I hate that type of RTS game. The cutscenes should be amazing, I cannot wait for the singleplayer. Even if the game totally breaches canon, I'm just going to enjoy it as a possible "alternative Halo universe"/what if the Flood had been discovered earlier? type story. I'm becoming quite confident they will make it work, but if they don't, I'll just pretend this game doesn't exist. Simple as. I'm going to enjoy it. However, I still HATE the graphics. The Covenent look horrendous in their uniform pinks and the dark green UNSC look sickly and horrible. I hate the overly boxy, liney and complicated scheme they've given the UNSC... they've always been simplistic and "gets the job done", not fancy mechs and all that nonsense. Argh, I hated this game and now I cannot wait. It's not a proper Halo game, and it's not made by Bungie, but oh my God I just can't wait to see the Prophet of Regret and the previous Arbiter... this could be really quite fun!
