In Response To: What is your favorite "Waiting for Halo" memory? (Lophan) Getting up at 5am to watch the Macworld keynote, knowing Halo was going to be announced then and there, but not knowing what I was going to see. When Xzzy stepped in and propped up the Core after Gamestats shut it down for "maliciously attacking their servers" by putting a Halo movie on them. The last few minutes of the Core, when people were posting to the forum so fast and so furious that WebBBS choked and died, and then a few minutes later, when scripts jury rigged at the last minute survived and the Core successfully "rebooted". Seeing Halo again (for the first time) during my interviews in February, and of course, when Meg congratulated me on getting the level design job before I'd even been contacted by Microsoft with the offer.
